Assistant Project Manager
Responsibilities
The assistant project manager reports to the project manager and helps ensure projects are executed in accordance with the design, budget and schedule. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining official project logs and documentation files
- Helping procure project materials and equipment
- Initiating the permitting process
- Assisting with and conducting follow-ups in the submittal process
- Helping with project-specific requirements and documentation
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Experience working in a deadline-set environment
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiency with computer skills
- Microsoft Project, Office and Teams are preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Schedule
Monday through Friday with flexibility between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Commercial Construction Estimator
Responsibilities
The commercial construction estimator reports directly to the vice president of construction and interfaces with client representatives, subcontractors, consultants and others. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing plans and architectural drawings
- Visiting project sites to gather information
- Soliciting vendor and subcontractor bids for assigned projects
- Obtaining, reviewing and analyzing bids for conformance to project specifications, price, material quality and related items
- Executing take-offs of construction documents
- Using Microsoft Excel to calculate, record and track estimates
- Accurately pricing change orders for ongoing work
- Assessing the financial, technical and operational risks of the project
Requirements
- Ability to meet deadlines and estimate multiple projects at one time
- Ability to read and understand design drawings
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiency with computer skills
- Microsoft Project, Office and Teams are preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math and technical writing skills
