Adams & Ruxton Projects

Financial Institution, Simsbury, CT

An expansive project at a financial institution in Simsbury, Connecticut, encompassed both interior and exterior elements over the course of two separate projects. Inside, we built new walls, installed new workstations, frames, doors and hardware, as well as coordinated new and modified existing HVAC, electrical, data, flooring, paint and more. We demolished and replaced the existing counters around the cedar columns, the existing teller line, while allowing the branch to remain operational throughout the three-month construction period. For the exterior, we demolished the existing concrete landing, stairs, handrails and landing. Then our team performed site preparation, grading, forming, reinforcing and landscaping work; poured new concrete; and installed new handrails—all while maintaining ADA compliance.
